An estimate needs the full pickup and delivery addresses, plus any additional stops. If you have an appointment for keys or a limited building access window, explain the timing before a date is confirmed.
Avoid placing another fixed appointment immediately after the expected delivery. Travel and loading conditions can vary, and a little room in the day makes decisions easier.

For a condo, request moving instructions from the building manager and confirm elevator access. For a house, check the intended loading location and the path to the entrance. Measure furniture against tight turns and doorways at the new property.

Separate a seasonal move from a full household
A furnished residence may only need selected pieces, clothing and personal belongings. Make a clear list of what is moving and label items that must stay. If belongings are going to more than one place, separate the groups and tell the office about each destination.

Confirm access with whoever manages the property, and arrange for someone to answer placement questions during delivery. Keep important documents and everyday essentials with you. If your arrival date and furniture delivery cannot line up, discuss the options before booking.

Does a small seasonal move still need an estimate?
Yes. The number of items is only part of the work. Travel, packing, stairs, elevators and carrying distance should also be discussed before you book.
What if I will not arrive until after my belongings?
Tell the office before confirming a date. Discuss an authorized contact who can receive delivery or whether a different schedule or storage arrangement is appropriate.
