A sofa that fits in a room still has to reach that room. Measure the entrance, elevator opening and any sharp hallway turns. Include detached legs or removable components in the discussion, and send photographs when access is difficult to describe.

Moving into a different floor plan is a good time to decide what earns its space. Sort linens, kitchen duplicates and occasional furniture before packing. If you are furnishing a seasonal residence, distinguish the items you will need immediately from those that can stay boxed longer.

Coordinate the last few details
Choose one person to answer questions during loading and delivery. Keep keys and access devices with that person, and avoid scheduling cleaners or installers in the same working area. If your dates do not line up, ask our Naples office about storage options and the conditions involved.

What if my furniture will not fit in the elevator?
Share measurements and photos before booking. The office can review the item and the access route with you. Do not assume an alternative method will be available.
Can a move be arranged around a short elevator window?
Tell us the available window, inventory and carrying distance. The office will review whether the scope and requested date can work within your building's instructions.
